It's that time again....the Oklahoma Legislature is back in session starting today!! Over the next 4 months we have the chance to educate our lawmakers on policies that will reduce heart disease and stroke and create a healthier Oklahoma.

This year the American Heart Association will support the following:
1. Passing a Good Samaritan Law that will encourage everyone to use an Automated External Defibrillator if the see someone suffering a heart attack.
2. Passing a strong statewide smoke-free law so that all workplaces are smoke-free.
3. Making it possible for local communities to pass their own strong smoke-free air laws.
